Rear wall made of siding for installation in a SKAN HOLZ carportSiding consists of two layers of loose 20 mm thick formwork boards, which are only attached once the carport is fully assembled. It provides increased stability, privacy from the side and protection from e.g. wind or overgrown hedges.Product featuresWidth: 362 cmHeight: 330 cmFormwork thickness: 2 x 12 cmBuilt-in posts 12 x 12 cm, glulam spruceIncluding H-post anchorMaterial: Nordic spruceUntreated in colourPhoto galleryAny carports, colour treatment and decoration shown are not included in the scope of delivery. These are customer photos, which are intended to give you an impression of the installed state.ConstructionThe construction is made of solid Nordic fir. We use technically-dried, solid spruce wood, scanned for flaws, sorted and weatherproofed by finger-joint bonding according to length. Small fissures, branches and slight twists reflect the character of the materials used.Color treatmentThis building kit is not treated with color. Wood in outdoor areas is constantly exposed to the elements, such as fungus and insect infestations. Regular application of protective coatings is thus essential. Primer should be applied to all sides prior to assembly. First apply wood primer to protect against fungus and insects. Then apply an intermediate and a finishing coat of premium wood varnish or paint to protect against color change and damage. Calculate service intervals of about 4-5 years, prior to the appearance of visible damage. Follow the processing guidelines of the varnish manufacturer.Rear wall made of sidingSpruce, untreatedHeight 330 cmInstallation posts 12 x 12 cm (glulam spruce)H-post anchor included

The SKAN HOLZ increased snow-load consists of additional rafter triangles that you mount between the existing rafter triangles. In this way you reduce the rafter spacing of the carport and thereby increase the overall load capacity. The number and size of the rafters varies depending on the carport.Increased snow load increases the snow load of the carport to 1,9 kN/m².This increased snow load fits the following models:Carport Wallgau 620 x 900 cmcolour-treated in walnutPlease be aware:Increased snow load cannot subsequently be backfitted on the carports. Before assembling, please find out what the snow-load limit is in your area.ConstructionThe construction is made of impregnated softwood. Spruce and pine wood, which is not technically-dried, acquires its greenish color from metal salts released by the impregnating agent. They protect wood against fungus and insect infestations, but do not contain UV protection. Impregnation gives wood higher residual moisture. Subsequent drying can lead to release of resin, twisting and formation of drying cracks, which pose no static disadvantage and rather reflect the natural materials used.Color treatmentThe color pre-treated parts of the building kit are treated with premium varnish and paint.
