Snow load for double carport, depth up to 555 cm, anthracite

The SKAN HOLZ snow load extension consists of additional rafters that you mount between the existing roof rafters. This reduces the rafter spacing of the carport and increases the overall load-bearing capacity. The number and size of the rafters varies depending on the carport. The snow load increase raises the snow load of the carport to 2.0 kN/m².This snow load increase contains 6 additional rafters and fits the following models:Friesland carport 546 x 555 cmFriesland carport 557 x 555 cmColour-treated in anthracitePlease note:The snow load cannot be retrofitted to the carports. Please check the snow load limit required in your residential area before assembly.ConstructionThe construction is made of impregnated softwood. Spruce and pine wood, which is not technically-dried, acquires its greenish color from metal salts released by the impregnating agent. They protect wood against fungus and insect infestations, but do not contain UV protection. Impregnation gives wood higher residual moisture. Subsequent drying can lead to release of resin, twisting and formation of drying cracks, which pose no static disadvantage and rather reflect the natural materials used.Color treatmentThe color pre-treated parts of the building kit are treated with premium varnish and paint. This protects wood from blue stain and UV damage, as well as from swelling and fading, while still allowing the wooden texture to shine through. At the factory, parts are flow-coated twice on all sides with varnish and the excess subsequently brushed off.You can begin with assembly immediately upon delivery, there is no need for cumbersome priming and painting. Every building kit includes enough touch-up paint or varnish to repair damage and cover screws and cut surfaces at least two times. If you wish to further enhance the surface, lightly sand the visible surfaces and coat them with premium varnish or paint after assembly. Traces of storage on all-round color-treated components are due to technical reasons.Snow load increase to sk=2.00 kN/m²Suitable for Friesland carport 546 x 555 cmSuitable for Friesland carport 557 x 555 cmColour-treated in anthraciteMust be installed during carport assembly

Sidewall St.Andrew`s cross 205 x 210 cm, douglas fir, untreated

The decorative SKAN HOLZ sidewall with solid St. Andrew's crosses of Douglas fir is suited to SKAN HOLZ terrace roofs of Douglas fir with a depth 250 cm.Product featuresWidth: 205 cmHeight: 210 cmthickness cross beams: 10 x 10 cmthickness St. Andrew`s cross: 8 x 8 cmthickness posts: 12 x 12 cmincluding mounting bracket(s)Material: douglas firnot colour-treatedPhoto galleryAny illustrated terrace roofs, colour treatment and decoration are not included in scope of supply. This involves customer photos, which are to provide you with an impression of the installed condition.ConstructionThe construction is made of Douglas fir. The reddish heart wood of the Douglas fir contains resin and oils that are resistant against fungus and insect infestations. We use technically-dried Douglas fir which, depending on length, is partly weatherproofed by finger jointing. This type of wood features high surface hardness. Fissures, branches and twists reflect the natural materials used.If Douglas fir is not treated with varnish, a glossy grey-silver patina forms over time. It protects the built structure from environmental challenges, and you from time-consuming wood maintenance.Color treatmentThe wooden parts of this building kit are not color treated. If building kits of Douglas fir are assembled without chemical wood protection, no further treatment than regular cleaning of the patina with water is required. If the natural texture of the wood is to be maintained, regular application of a protective coating is recommended. All-round coating should be applied prior to assembly. First apply wood primer. Then apply an intermediate and a finishing coat of premium wood varnish or paint to protect against color change and damage. Calculate service intervals of about 4-5 years, prior to the appearance of visible damage. Follow the processing guidelines of the varnish manufacturer.Sidewall St.Andrew`s crossSuitable for terrace roofs with a depth of 250 cmdouglas firnot Colour-treated

Snow load for single carport, wide, depth up to 846 cm, walnut
Snow load for single carport, wide, depth up to 846 cm, walnut

The SKAN HOLZ snow load extension consists of additional rafters that you mount between the existing roof rafters. This reduces the rafter spacing of the carport and increases the overall load-bearing capacity. The number and size of the rafters varies depending on the carport. The snow load increase raises the snow load of the carport to 2.5 kN/m².This snow load extension contains 6 additional rafters and is suitable for the following models:Emsland carport 402 (404) x 846 cmWendland carport 409 x 870 cmColour-treated in walnutPlease note:The snow load cannot be retrofitted to the carports. Please check the snow load limit required in your residential area before assembly.ConstructionThe construction is made of glued laminate timber, consisting of several dried layers, attached to one another with finger-jointing. They are glued onto one another for weather-resistance. This results in a load-bearing beam which is more resistant to warping and less prone to fissures than naturally grown wood.Color treatmentThe color pre-treated parts of the building kit are treated with premium varnish and paint.
