Construction
The construction is made of solid Nordic fir. We use technically-dried, solid spruce wood, scanned for flaws, sorted and weatherproofed by finger-joint bonding according to length. Small fissures, branches and slight twists reflect the character of the materials used.
Color treatment
The log planks and corner covers, as well as the door and the panorama window, are pre-treated on the outside in slate-grey. The interior of the log planks, as well as cut edges, floors, roof boarding and beams are untreated due to reason of production. The 14 mm internal formwork is glazed in white.
Walls
All 19 mm-thick exterior-wall logs have a single groove and tongue milling. The logs are inserted into one another and slotted and screwed into the corner post. There is 60 mm of insulation behind it to protect you from heat and cold. The insulation is protected on the inside and outside against condensation water. The interior panelling of the house is 14 mm thick, also with groove and flute.
Roofing
The roof boarding of 19 mm-thick wood moulding is covered with an aluminium-covered, pressure-sensitive roofing membrane with aluminium roof edging. The slope runs toward the rear. The roof is insulated with a total of 120 mm insulation. This produces an even higher insulation effect.
Flooring
The floor consists of untreated 19 mm floorboards with tongue and groove, including impregnated ground supports.
