To ensure the treatment is as even as possible, the first coat should be applied to all sides of the timber components before assembly. Suitable wood protection products may be used for this purpose in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.To preserve the appearance of the wood in the long term, regular care and maintenance are advisable. The SKAN HOLZ snow load extension consists of additional rafters that you mount between the existing roof rafters. This reduces the rafter spacing of the carport and increases the overall load-bearing capacity.
