The coating allows the natural wood grain to remain visible whilst ensuring a uniform surface finish. The components are coated on all sides twice at the factory, after which any excess material is brushed off.Thanks to this factory pre-treatment, the components can be assembled immediately upon delivery. A primer coat prior to assembly is not required. Each kit also includes a quantity of wood stain or paint for touching up cut edges, screw holes or any damage caused during assembly. These areas should be treated in accordance with the installation instructions.For a personalised finish, the visible wooden surfaces can be lightly sanded after assembly and treated with a suitable wood stain or paint.
